I have alopecia and wear lace front and lace top wigs. I had never even heard of the term edges until a few years ago, someone pointed out that I have no edges while I was wearing a wrap on my head.Fast forward a couple of years and I’m fixing up my wig, asking myself “how in the world can I camouflage this lace better and get the front of this wig looking more natural?” and a lightbulb went off. I’ve been using this product for many years and the only reason I’ve had to purchase another one is because I lost my original. This edge brush is sturdy but gentle. You can see the many reviews here attesting to its gentleness on one’s scalp. As an edgeless girl, I can attest to its gentleness on lace wigs. I wouldn’t use anything else on my hair pieces.

This is my honest review. I have been using this brush a little over a month and it works. This brush is exactly as described and pictured….I am surprised that no one came up with this before.Pros:1. Easy to use2. Price is not bad3. Works better than a spare tooth brushCons:1. Bristles on brush may be a little too rough so be gentle while using this2. It is thin so if one is not gentle it can break, especially comb areaMy experience:Prior to using this brush, like almost every chocolate girl, I was using a new cheap toothbrush to lay and gel my baby hairs, but not anymore! This brush is lightweight and easy to use. The come really helps with creating shape or making the baby hairs not as stiff. The brush works like a spare tooth brush does. One thing to note is that the bristles are not as soft and if one is not gentle it can be too rough on the hair and lead to some hair lost. This product is exactly as pictured.

This is better than using a toothbrush because the bristles are much wider, longer and firm (without bending). However, this will pull your hair’s edges tightly so make sure you lather up the product to avoid damaging your fragile hairline. You can tell this brush grips your hair and is much better than using bristles from a toothbrush that smashes down when pulling. This is less than $5 (I paid $1.5) and you will use this every single day, there is nothing to think about, just get it LOL. This is also 4c hair approved and meant for our coarser hair types. I hope this helps 🙂

Pleasently suprised at how well this worked! Was a little sceptical because it was so cheap but it works great. I keep a little bit of my sides trimmed really short and didn’t really have a way of smoothing them out. I’ve used the comb side to help get a perfect line for a trim and the brush side makes it look so smooth and perfect. It even works on my tiny baby hairs that are always unruly. For reference I have mixed hair that is very fine but gets fuzzy and some days it curls and others is stick straight. The bristles are a little rough but as long as you are careful it doesn’t hurt. Maybe would be rough for a child unless they are used to getting hair done a lot. But I have really sensitive skin and it doesn’t bother me. Worth the price to try it out!

This is a good Edge brush. I’ve had a hard time finding one’s in stores. It’s not too soft, but you don’t want it to be . It’S kind of soft/firm and it’s easy to use! Only downfall is cleaning it! The bristles are a little too firm and causes them to break and Shred! So.. I wouldn’t clean this brush with anything other than your fingertips and some gentle soap!Overall..works great on my hair and I have very thin, brittle and fine hair, and Frizzy edges!

I never thought I would ever write a review on an edges brush, but this little gem deserves it! I have use so many over the years since chilhood, and they usually have plastic bristles, they are never made of great quality and they break quickly. This little gem has 100% boar soft bristles! It really keeps edges laid. Also, the handle is good plastic, does not look cheap and it is easy to clean because it is smooth plastic, so everything wipes or washes off easily. The other side has a comb, and it is perfect for wave making on the edges, I even use it to part my hair, is that good. Anyway, I highly recommend it. I hope this review helps someone out there.

I thought how funny it would be to buy one of these cause, just use an old toothbrush right? For years I’ve done this until seeing this product, what sold me was the double ended feature. Both useful and necessary for kinky curly hair.I immediately knew based on the appearance and texture of the bristles, that they were boar bristles. It’s firm but comfortable, I’ve even used it all over to smooth some fly-away hairs when it was slapped into a bun. Now, I laugh cause I should have gotten one sooner. Haha. Jokes on me. …No regrets.

Absolutely love Camryn’s BFF products! I bought this thinking it wasn’t really necessary because I was already using a toothbrush for my BabyGirl’s edges but the price wasn’t too bad, so I said “Eh, I’ll give out a try. ” This Gentle Edges Brush has a lot more bristles and they are so much softer than a toothbrush. This makes for much smoother baby hairs. And the comb on the ends makes sure they are fully detangled. The picture doesn’t show it very well but I’ll try to update with a better picture, later.
