Hair Replacement Adhesive Wig Glue for Poly and Lace Wigs and Hairpieces

(30 customer reviews)

LIGHT HOLD – Our Ghost Bond Platinum lace wig glue is specially formulated for use as a pressure sensitive adhesive and glue for bonding hair replacement systems to skin and scalp. Our products are researched, manufactured and rigorously tested to ensure high-quality, exceptional performance and safety.

INVISIBLE BONDING – This lace wig adhesive is safe for use on both poly and lace hair replacement systems and creates an invisible bond after application. This invisible bonding helps to hide your hairline and creates a natural look for your wig or hairpiece for both men and women alike

SPECIALLY FORMULATED – The Ghost Bond Platinum hair glue by Pro Hair Labs is specially designed for those with oily skin and scalps, heavy perspiration and those in climates with high moisture and humidity. Our formula also has a higher melting point than other polyurethane and lace front glue and hairpiece adhesives, enabling you to rest easy that your hair will remain in place.

WATERPROOF AND OIL-RESISTANT – Peace of mind when wearing a wig or hairpiece comes when you’re able to go about your day without worrying about your hair system moving or falling off from natural skin oils or wetness. That’s why our hair glue for lace wigs is waterproof and oil-resistant to help ensure your hair looks and feels as natural as possible

SAFE TO USE – Our Ghost Bond Platinum lace wig glue is designed for those with sensitive skin and scalp, as our formula contains no nasty chemicals, no latex and no toxic ingredients. Also, when removing your hairpiece, using a skin-safe adhesive solvent – such as rubbing alcohol – may result in less skin and scalp irritation, as opposed to other harsh remedies.

Great product…if applied correctly you shouldn’t have any issues …

Holds much better than “Gots to be Glued”, gel and freeze but, but use for long term adhesion…don’t recommend for daily wear. Love it for trips. Not cheap,, but worth it as a little goes a long way. Its one container that’s small. Dries clear; removes with conditioner, alcohol or sanitizer.

I LOVE GHOSTBOND!! Ive been looking for an adhesive that would last throw sweat or heat. I am a gym rat so Im CONSTANTLY working out. Ive been doing the “Got to be glued” method and needless to say, my wigs would lift EVERY time. BUT BABYYY when I tried Ghost Bond?! NO lift! NO slide! NO glue runoff! The longest install using Ghost Bond lasted me 13 days (just was testing lol) and the ONLY reason I kept it in that long is because I wanted to wash and condition my hair! AND NO it doesnt remove your edges! I will be getting on my Youtube channel to do yet another review! GET THIS PRODUCT!!

When I first used this product I had a major summer time moment (hot flashes) and it was a big mess…almost gave up on this product and used other glues which were too strong smelling and gave me a headache. Then one day I revisited the reviews and told myself I did not follow directions…so I tried this product again…just had a fan blowing and dressed lightly and followed the directions and Walla Lord and behold it works….so I am in love with the Ghost Bond XL holds great and drys matte which is way better than feeling like you put shiny scotch tape on your for forehead …love the product, works well, I wear my unit for 3 to 5 days with out a problem and highly recommend JUST FOLLOW DIRECTIONS, take it frome me..also add on patience do not apply your wig if the glue is still white hello….Wait till clear.

I have to say that when I first used this adhesive….I didn’t like it. I thought it wasn’t holding my lace frontal down. But the problem was that I wasn’t using this adhesive correctly. Folks….This adhesive works great….you just have to know how to use it. Check out you tube videos on how the adhesive is supposed to be dotted along your forehead (in front of your hairline) then use your blow dyer on cool and keep it on the area you applied the adhesive until it turns clear…then re dot again for your 2nd layer and repeat same steps with the dryer. Trust me it works. It’s all about getting the hang of it. Now I haven’t tested out the adhesive for more than 1 to 1.5 weeks. It’s just my preference to clean the lace and re-apply after a week has gone by. But otherwise it does last for that amount of time. I’ve gone roller skating and sweated hard and my frontal was still in tact. Just when I got home after washing my face…I tied my hair line area up with a scarf. My frontal was still laid the next day.I’ve included a pic of my recent install. Sorry it’s only showing my forehead but the hair was crappy…dealing with that issue from that seller….but as you will see in the pic…my frontal is laid using the Go=host Bond XL!For those looking for video instructions, I’ve listed some names below. On YouTube:TT Wells (@TTdoesitall)Million Dollar Baby ( see her newest video – Blonde hair wig she made with a lace frontal – this one had the best instructions that really helped me out)Tiarra MonetI hope this helps.

This stuff doesn’t play! You MUST follow the directions, You MUST allow the glue to dry before applying your lace or it will dry white. You have to be careful when using – this is not that beauty supply store glue … this is the real deal!Do it right & your results will be fantastic!

    Love it super hold

  12. Slay By The Queen Hair

I make wigs for my company Slay By The Queen 👑 and this has been the BEST GLUE EVER!!! I haven’t tried all of them on the market but so far, I WILL KEEP PURCHASING THIS LACE GLUE. It drys clear, very quick, easy to spread, and very easy to clean off the lace. It doesn’t clump up on the lace. I got in the shower and let the hot steam loosen it up and slide it right off my head, then rubbed the glue off the lace in seconds. ❤️❤️

  13. Paulette

Don’t kno if I wanna pay this much money for this bottle again but I liked the glue a lot I think I’m just find something similar when this runs out cause it cost to much

  14. Sally

I use this to glue in weft hair extensions myself. I have tried many other product over the last decade. This does not damage my thin hair and hold through washing. After 3-4 weeks I remove with just baby oil. Best in the market

  15. Jeff Cunningham DC PA

This is my go-to glue. It is comfortable and holds for two weeks. It does take a lot to clean up, but that’s part of having a very sticky glue and I don’t mind. Usually 30 minutes to clean up and re-do is ample time. Good stuff.

  16. MrsLady

Held my lace wig down for the entirety of my cruise. Make sure before applying clean area well with alcohol. Apply glue let stand until it turns clear and tacky even if you have to apply twice before applying wig. When your ready to take of your wig use alcohol on rag to remove and wipe the access glue off.

  17. Opal Eloise

This works good, I just apply a thin layer and smooth it with a flat application stick and as it clears I apply another layer, repeat until I’m on my 4th layer wait about 5-7 min they apply your closure or frontal. I find that if I apply gots 2 be glue first then the actual hair glut the lace holds better. Don’t rush it will turn out great if you take your time.

    Love it super hold

  19. Shameeca White

I personally prefer the water-proof one but this still works just as well. I re-do my lace front about every 2-weeks and it holds. No slipping and didn’t have to re-apply like some others I tried. Will show white if it gets wet but still held in place after I blow dried it.

  20. Amazon Customer

I’ve been using ghost bond for awhile now. Decided to try this ghost bond platinum. Let me tell you, after one month I finally had to remove it myself just to wash my hair! I workout out intensely every day and sweet like crazy. I also live in south Florida where it is always extremely humid. And even after a month with all of that, it still was holding my wig in place. I’m sure it would have lasted longer because even as I was trying to remove it, I had to give it time for the oil to do its job. If you are looking for something that’s going to work with your active life style, this is it.

Im in love with this. I put all my friends on. Rather this than got2b glued…Its easier to clean off the lace all u gotta do is rub into balls and it comes right off….Stays on for almost two weeks if u tie it down everynight and it manage thru humid weather…Really a great great hold

Well this is my first time laying a wig. I looked all over the internet and this was the best option. Putting it on in even layers I did 3 on the left side and 4 on the right side. The side I move all the time. I Let it dry clear!!!!! Be patient!! My real test is how long will it actually hold I’m wanting this to last at least 4 weeks! I washed conditioned and treated my hair underneath and used Roberts Diamond protective shield around my edges.. ok we’ll see how long this actually holds!!! I will update as soon as anything changes!!!😉 otherwise I love it the hold is so secure!!! And I can play with my hair without it moving 😂 will definitely stick to ghost bond platinum ❤️ Update!! Day 2 and it’s still holding strong this is the best product I have ever used ok I’ll update in a few more days!! Update it is now September 29…7 days later and my hair is still layed it has been 90 degrees and I was scared because of what I heard about ghost bond holding in the heat. Well my hair never moved or turned white! Don’t believe everything you read!!😂 I’ll check back in October with another update. Also I never had to retouch any part of my lace not yet anyway!! Final update today is October 15 and my hair is still in place I thought it would be falling off by now but nope!!! This product is great I’m removing tonight because I got new hair use 91% alcohol then add oil to slide it right off don’t pull it be patient! Will definitely stick to ghost bond. 5 stars ⭐️ 😉

I have been using this glue for upwards of about 3 years now! My extensions sticks for about 3 weeks to a month in one application. There are a few things to note when you’re using this.1. Use 90% alcohol on your hair line, make sure you are working with a clean face and clean surface. Use something white to be able to tell if there is residue coming off your forehead when applying the alcohol. Make sure the cloth/towel/cotton ball returns with no residue.2. Apply thin layer of glue, Use something to smooth the glue to ensure it’s an even line on hairline. I use the end of a rat tailed comb. once applied WAIT until the glue is TRANSPARENT. So in and apply the thin layer o top the first and wait yet again until transparent. I do this 4 times.3. To ensure glue doesn’t dry before being able to apply your u it completely start with the center of your hair line, then move on to your sides to ensure it’s all freshly adhered.4. Take your time!! I use this method and it’s stayed for me for upwards of 3-4 weeks. I am an oily skin type, I’ve lives in Texas using it in 108 degree weather and it stayed down! I currently reside in Virginia where it gets humid tropical and HOT and it stays using this method!Hope that helps!!

This product has never failed on me. Ever. It’s actually not even possible for me to mess it up lol. If I use it, the hair staying on – no question about it atleast three days. Now if I want it off sooner, it is a pain in the ass.If it gets caught in the hair…. it will take forever to get it out. So I advice to keep it away from there!
